Story FAQ
What is the Mansion?
The Mansion is a house that carries a curse. Anyone who enters the Mansion starts to see their fears become real. The things inside are not just random monsters; they are shaped by trauma, guilt, and unresolved events from the past. The house does not create evil. Instead, it shows what is already inside the people who enter.
Who is the Thief?
The Thief is someone who breaks into the Mansion looking for riches. Instead of finding treasure, he comes face to face with his own fears made real. The things he meets are connected to his past. What happens to him in the Mansion is personal, and the horrors mirror who he is.
Is the story only about the Thief?
No, the Thief is just one part of a bigger story. Before the Thief, a family lived in the Mansion, and the curse touched their lives too.
Who is the family that lived in the Mansion?
A family once lived in the Mansion, and the curse had a big impact on their lives. Many things found in the house, like letters, notes, and personal items, are parts of their story. These details are not random; they are pieces of a tragedy.
Who is Mr. Miles?
Mr. Miles is the head of the family who once lived in the Mansion. His story goes on in the Hospital map. The Hospital shows a later part of his life and reveals what happened because of the Mansion.
How is the School connected?
The School is linked to the family's daughter. Like the Mansion and the Hospital, the School is part of the same story. It takes the story beyond one place and shows how the curse changes lives over time.
Are the maps separate stories?
No. The Mansion, Hospital, and School are all chapters in one big story. They are linked by the family, the curse, and the events that changed them. Each map still holds many secrets. There are still mysteries waiting to be found. Some secrets will only come to light when someone else, looking for answers about the curse, enters these places and brings their own fears.
What exactly is the curse?
The curse makes people face their own fears as if they were real. It does not create monsters for no reason. What appears is always tied to the person and their past. Some parts of the curse are still left unexplained on purpose.
Why is each monster present on multiple maps?
The curse is attached to a person, not to a place. The monster is connected to the person who has the curse. It shows their fear, rather than being a spirit that lives in a single building. Right now, the story follows one main character: the Thief. He goes to each place - the Mansion, Hospital, and School - looking for answers about the curse that now affects him. Since the curse is linked to him, the monster follows wherever he goes. This is why the same creature can show up on different maps. In the game, you can choose any combination of map and monster to play. But when it comes to the main story:
- Krasue and Charlie are mostly connected to the Mansion story.
- The Hospital is linked to Charlie.
- Good Boy is mostly part of the School story. Not every combination you play matches the official timeline of events.
Why aren’t all answers revealed yet?
Because the story is still being told. Some parts are left unfinished on purpose and will be added to in future updates, with new characters and content. The story of Eyes is meant to grow over time.
Are fan theories correct?
Guessing and coming up with theories is welcome and part of the fun. However, some theories go in directions that were never planned. This FAQ is here to explain the main parts of the story, but not every mystery is meant to be fully explained, at least not yet.
